Yves Saint Laurent ---> Saint Laurent Paris

Saint Laurent Paris jest nową nazwą poprzedniego brand’u Yves Saint Laurent. Zmiana jak każde nowe posunięcie w każdej dziedzinie znalazła zarówno zwolenników jak i przeciwników. Jedni zgodnie twierdzą, że nowy projektant Hedi Slimane w pięknym stylu powrócił do korzeni domu mody natomiast ciemne głosy negują kolekcje jako ciężki, staromodny i mało odkrywczy styl.

Saint Laurent Paris is the new name for a new era within the Yves Saint Laurent franchise. Hedi Slimane has taken over the reins and created a brand new image for the label, but will still pay homage to the piece of history Yves Saint Laurent already created.
We were sent back to the darker side of the seventies during the show. Sweeping, velvet dresses in midnight blue and black were split to the navel and split to the thigh, leaving only a small portion of the model entirely covered.
